Meet Amy

It’s probably no secret I have a passion for all things travel. From vintage suitcases, beautiful postcards, to maps, those treasured inserts of brightly colored magazines and brochures that showcase the world. My obsession for discovering far away places has led to traveling to incredible destinations and being greeted by amazing people who share their culture, traditions and delicious cuisines.

Travel has pushed me out of my comfort zone, challenged me, altered my perception and opened my mind. Enamored with global travel and the personal transformation it brings simply by experiences.

I’ve found this beautiful intersection of my knowledge and expertise with all things travel, my heart for helping people, and excitement over research and planning that makes this my dream job. It’s such a satisfying feeling to assist with travel planning, sharing what opens you to awe in seeing this world.

Collectively - I have spent over 14 months traveling throughout the continent of Africa. From bush taxis ride to wildlife games drives - Africa is not just a place but a feeling that you treasure in your heart.

I LOVE my Teva sandals and take "shoe selfies" in creative places. My hiking boots are always on standby.

My first big international trip was at the age of 15 as an exchange student to Australia & New Zealand for the whole summer. I've returned back to see "my family & sisters" many times over the years including being a wedding.

I grew up on a farm outside of Portland, Oregon. Garden to table recipes have always been a way of life before it was trending.

My first suitcases were a gift from my grandparents to go to camp and later venture into the big world.

The longest time I've stayed awake to experience a destination - was Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. Seeing all the sites during the day and Samba dancing the whole night away.

I once traveled a full circle around the world! Flying from Spokane to Washington DC to Moscow, then taking the Trans-Siberian Railway to Vladivostok, flying to Seoul, South Korea then flying back to Spokane.
